Foraging courses & wild food cookery

Food foraging courses can be a mixed bag.  Some foraging courses can be as much about a Ray Mears survivalism showing you what you can eat and survive.  Hartingtons food foraging courses are more about being able to locate and harvest foraged foods that are going to enhance your food and drink.  Led by Chris Bax an expert forager and chef from Taste the Wild the foraging courses are all about how to enhance your cookery with wild ingredients.

We now have a range of foraging courses:

1. How about foraging for food along the beautiful Monsal Trail in Bakewell in the Peak District followed by a demonstration by Chris Bax on how to cook up a wild food menu using some of the food foraged on the day.
2. For those people who want to learn how to cook with foraged food how about a full day hands on wild food cookery masterclass.
3. Wild food can be used to create some wonderful drinks and alcohol beverages.  How about elderflower champagne and wild spiced mulled wine along with a wild mint and cumin cooler for starters?

Come along and find out how to enhance your food and drink with foraged foods.  It's tasty, healthy and naturally free.
