Cup cake making courses in the Peak District

Hartingtons is proud to present not one but two cup cake making courses at our new School of Food in Bakewell.  We have an Introduction To Cup Cake Making where you will learn the icing and decorating skills to customise your own unique looking and tasting cup cakes.  For those who want to develop their own cup cake masterpieces we are also putting on a Cup Cake Making Masterclass to be hosted by expert cake baker Emma Mitchell, who supplies the Chastworth Estate with her cup cakes.  During this full day masterclass in cup cake making you will explore some of Emma's favourite flavour combinations and then proceed to bake your own cup cakes.  After lunch you will be shown how to make your own butter cream topping and then use fondant icing to make your own sweet sensations. On both courses you will take away a box of your own sensational cup cakes.

If you love cupcakes but want to taste them rather than make them then why not come along to our free "private view" featuring Pearl in "Bakewell Get's A New Tart" on the 21st July.  Not only will there be some fantastic new art work from Sheffield artist Wildago but you will also be able to taste and buy a selection of Emma Mitchell's irresistible cup cakes.  It's a festival of cup cakes, all in the lovely setting of our converted saw mill in Bakewell.  Delightful!
