Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November is the Bakewell Christmas Weekend and here at Hartingtons we are celebrating in style. We have got a fabulous weekend planned for all you foodies out there.
The mill be transformed into a fantastic Italian Mercato courtesy of our friends from Nonna, we will have hot wine and a brass band playing in the courtyard. Nonnas chefs will be giving free biscuit and panforte making demos on Saturday and Artisan Breadmaker, Mick Saxton will be giving free bread making demos on Sunday, with everything made available for sale fresh from the oven.
Chris and I will be launching the new 2013 course schedule and will have a range of gifts for sale including the Hartingtons new plum chutney.
Below is the schedule for the weekend and as we are undercover..... come rain or shine the School is likely to be "buzzing" all weekend so do come along, say hello and join in the fun!

Saturday 24 November
- Italian Mercato all day - authentic Italian food and drink and fabulous gift hampers for Christmas.
- Vin caldo in the courtyard all day
- Brass band playing seasonal music from 12 noon to 2.00 p.m.
- Free demonstrations of how to make Panforte and Italian Christmas biscuits throughout the day
- Launch of Hartingtons 2013 artisan food and drink courses and more traditional cookery courses. Ideal Christmas presents! Special offers on selected courses and free prize draw.
- Launch of Hartingtons new plum chutney and a selection of artisan bread making courses for sale.
Sunday 25 November
- Italian Mercato all day - authentic Italian food and drink and fabulous gift hampers for Christmas.
- Vin caldo in the courtyard all day
- Artisan breadmaker, Mick Saxton, will give free bread making demos throughout the day and sell his artisan bread and spicy Christmas buns fresh from the oven......went down a treat last time. He couldn't make his bread fast enough! ........make sure you come along early before he sells out!
