Gourmet Supper Club - Christmas Menu Revealed

Hartingtons Gourmet Supper Club reveals its menu for its 'Alternative' Christmas Feast.  The select band of Gourmets will reconvene in Hartingtons converted saw mill on the 7th of December for an informal tasting of 6 gourmet food courses along with a tutored wine tasting of 6 of the very best seasonal wines. The wines are carefully selected by John Hattersley Wines in Bakewell to perfectly compliment each of the stunning dishes.

This unique menu prepared by Robert Stordy, the University Chef of the Year for 2012, draws on some of the classic Christmas seasonal flavours and gives them a unique and surprising twist.  Spaces for the Gourmet Supper Club are strictly limited and sell out each time so please contact us to reserve your place.

The menu for the 'Alternative' Christmas Feast' is as follows:

Christmas bacon and egg & prawn cocktail canapes

Pumpkin and ricotta gnocchi with roasted squash and sage butter

Salad of smoked salmon with peashoots and cream of horseradish
++
Elizabethan spiced beef with braised red cabbage and a seasonal selection of locally grown vegetables
++
