Chocoholics near Chatsworth

It's no secret. I'm a bit of a chocoholic. I love real dark chocolate not the sweet stuff that we are brought up on in this country. Imagine my joy when we were contacted by a true artisan chocolatier wanting to come to our Bank Holiday Food Fair in Baslow on the 28th August.

Shelly Preston is a fine chocolatier with a boutique next to the Welbeck Farm Shop on the Welbeck Estate. I've posted a picture of some of her creations. Even better she is going to do 12 hour hot chocolate at our Baslow Food Fair nr Chatsworth. So chocoholics you know where to come on the 28th August. See you in the queue!

Bank Holiday Food Fair

If you are planning to go to Chatsworth House or into the Peak District for the forthcoming Bank Holiday Sunday (28 August), why not think about popping in to our Food Fair in Baslow?

We have just secured a completely new stallholder for the event. Teabox are a Sheffield based company specialising in loose teas. Come along and check out their extensive range of tea blends. Everything from the comically named rhubarb and custard to your more traditional English Breakfast or even the health giving qualities of a Jasmine Green Tea.

An ideal accompaniment to one of the fabulous range of cup cakes from Muffin Tops, Heavenly Cheesecake Company's New York style cheesecakes or chocolate brownies from Lorna at Heavenlies.

Mmmmm can hardly wait!!
