Hartingtons has always been proud to be part of the fabulous Peak District and to a play a part in attracting visitors to Bakewell and this most lovely part of the UK. Food is a truly international language and the interest and passion for it transcends borders and language. Since Hartingtons started trading just over a year ago, we have notched up quite a roster of international visitors to do our
cookery and artisan food courses with students coming literally from across the world to take part in our courses.
We have had a student from Chile doing our
cheese making course, pork pie makers from Ireland. We have had Americans learning to bake and make cheese. Now we can say we truly have gone global. We have just had two artisan bread makers from in Australia book on one of our artisan
bread making courses. So there you have it, Hartingtons has really gone International.
