If you are visiting Chesterfield this Sunday .......why not make a little detour and spend some time in Baslow?This lovely Peak District village is less than 15 minutes drive from the centre of Chesterfield and is at the gateway to the wonderful Chatsworth Estate.
Park up in Baslow and enjoy a walk along the River Derwent to the magnificent Chatsworth House......and when you return to Baslow don't miss the Food Fair at the Village Hall. On from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Sunday 10 July around 20 local food producers and retailers will be showcasing their products.
A fantastic selection of artisan cheese, bread, oils and dressings, cakes, desserts, savouries, flour, biscuits, apple juice, salads and smoothies, chocolates and lots more will be available.
Admission is FREE so please do come along and enjoy!
