Julie and I were simply stunned by the enthusiasm for our new cookery school in Bakewell this weekend.We had a steady stream of curious and enthusiastic foodies coming through the door.
Everybody remarked "What a fabulous space" in response to our converted sawmill.
Having spent almost 9 months fitting it out it was nice to hear that other people appreciated the light, space and views afforded by our beautiful little 'foodie bolt hole' set on the banks of the River Wye.
The local MP Patrick McLoughlin made an appearance on Saturday in an informal capacity and both he and his wife seem keen to perhaps do a course in between their many engagements.
We have already had a flood of bookings with many people booking Christmas Presents for friends or family. How about buying a gift voucher?
