Well.......we are absolutely delighted to welcome not one......but two Celebrity Chefs to our School of Food in Bakewell, in the heart of the glorious Peak District.
Rachel Green, fresh from filming a programme for Channel 4 with Jimmy Doherty, will be giving her Flavours of Chatsworth Masterclass on 17th October. This is a full day "hands on" course where you will learn to make six dishes which showcase the best of the Peak District's produce. Dishes include herb crusted rack of Derbyshire lamb with pea, mint and shallot sauce and her delicious Chatsworth hot fondant puddings with cherry compote.
Rachel's bubbly personality and anecdotes, her enthusiasm for the Peak District and local food and her expert tuition make this a day not to be missed. Once you have bought your provisions you return to start your day of cooking under Steph's expert tuition.
With her guidance you will make a series of dishes from produce bought on the day; some will form part of your lunch and the remainder you will take home at the end of the day. Lunch and drinks are included. This is a very unique day and places are limited. The cost is £135 per person.
