Who ate all the pies?......Michael Parkinson?

Well our very first Artisan Pork Pie Making Course takes place on Monday 23rd April at our new School of Food in Bakewell.......and what could be a better day to make this great English classic than St Georges Day?

Just 4 places remain on this unique course when you will learn how to make a true artisan Pork Pie under the guidance of acclaimed pie maker, Simon Barnes.

Simon, of Liberty Foods Farm Shop in Totley, on the outskirts Sheffield, has non other than former chat show host Michael Parkinson as a 'devotee' of his pork pies. Legend has it that whenever 'Parky' is in the area he sends out for one of Simon's pies!

Simon regularly sells out his delicious pies at our Fine Food Fairs in Baslow so rest assured you are being taught by a master!

So..... like pies? particularly like pork pies? .......then snap up one of the last few places and celebrate St George's day in style!

The course which costs £65 is on Monday 23rd April from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. You will get to make your own customised pork pie to take home and impress family and friends. Refreshments and a Peak District ploughmans lunch are also included in the price. Enjoy!
